For the money, it was good and sufficient. The receptionists were delightful and friendly. The room is small and you can hear door slams and chatter from the hallway, so have your earplugs handy for a good night sleep. There’s tea and coffee, but only two types of tea. The location is spectacular!

Stayed at the ADGE Hotel in Surry Hills last weekend and loved every second. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of everything—and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome (even slightly hungover ?). Stylish rooms, super comfy, and just the perfect Sydney vibe. It’s my second stay here and definitely not my last!

Booked this hotel for one night and was very disappointed by the service and treatment of staff when I queried my booking details. I was looking to book a hotel for the night in Sydney and clicked on a link for this hotel offering breakfast for two from Golosa and two handcrafted cocktails on arrival for $199. I thought this was a wonderful deal and wasn't that much more expensive than what I could have booked the room for using external companies such as Booking.com so clicked the link and booked the hotel through their website. When I clicked on the link, it took me to a King room as advertised using the hotel website. On arrival to the hotel I asked about the cocktails and breakfast and was told that it wasn't a part of my booking. I showed them the link I used to book the hotel and I was told that they had 'ran out of the deal'. I asked what this meant considering it was complimentary cocktails and breakfast and I was told that they could no longer provide the deal and the $199 was only for the room. When I challenged the hotel staff about false advertising I was told that 'the hotel wasn't his and there was nothing he could do'. I will never stay at this hotel again due to the treatment of staff. They did nothing to try and help me with my concern. BEWARE of booking this hotel using their gimmicks and links!!!!

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Adge for a week. The apartments are in need of a refresh but in terms of furnishings are fine. The only negative comment I have to make is about the quality of housekeeping. The apartment was dusty, the air-conditioners especially spewed dust throughout the apartment and the toilet bowl needed proper cleaning. Sheets were not changed even though I stayed for a week. The reception staff were very friendly and approachable and always tried to respond to every request.

I travel a lot for work, and sleep is important to me. Being the lazy, self indulgent person I am, it’s nice to come back to a room with nice clean, freshly made bed and towel's, and for it to be cool. The cleaning would start at 4pm, nothing was vacuumed. (The carpet needs a thorough steam clean regardless). I stayed from Sunday to Friday. I asked for a room change on Monday, (I was on the bottom level, sounded like pipes were being knocked around all night), this was handled so wonderfully but the cleaning, well there really wasn’t any cleaning. I wasn’t even supplied with bottled water for no charge as a complimentary offering from the hotel. One card to operate into wall socket for power, so I couldn’t leave my room cool, the cleaning staff had terrible body odour (left the entire room stinking). The saving grace for the hotel is the cafe and the wonderful staff and the coffee that could compete with Melbourne coffees! But please do better. It was dirty and not a nice experience to come into. The bed was king size with two singles pushed together, sleeping in the middle was impossible. It’s not a cheap hotel, where what you pay for is what you get. Amazing location too! Just severely disappointed and I have asked my company to never book this again. Even friends and family will be advised to never book with you.
