Charming hotel with excellent service—the housekeeping staff is wonderful and the front desk staff is also great. The bell check was very helpful and cheerful and efficient. Bar staff were pleasant and attentive. Very pleased with service overall. The room was pretty large, especially for midtown Manhattan. Bathroom was quirky, but very clean and well maintained. There was a mini-bar, including the contents of the full-size fridge and a snack bar, that I didn’t take advantage of, but it looked well-stocked. My only complaints were 1)that the mattress on the bed was as hard as a stone. Not unlike sleeping on the floor. Lots of nice pillows though. 2) it was pretty dark in the entire hotel—in the lobby, it felt like a cavern with only dim lighting; in the room at least the window provided some natural light.

"Super centrally located in Manhattan" Wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and spacious rooms by NYC standards. We had a 'medium queen room' which, due to the layout, offered plenty of space. The shower was great as well. The hotel is super central, and while everything is a bit of a walk, it's also just 'around the corner'. Wonderful hotel with very friendly and pleasant staff and a good vibe. I will definitely return here in the future.
