We had great stay at 8 Sleeper Street Hostel. The Host is super super friendly and the rooms are very clean. The location was perfect for us because it’s 20 minutes walking to the immigration office and 10 minutes walking to the city center.

What a great hidden gem! Great value for the price - stayed in a private double with its own shower. Owner goes above and beyond with hospitality: permitted early check-in as a room was available, snacks and bottled water readily available for guests, and even negotiated a shuttle van down when they attempted to overcharge for luggage. Would’ve stayed longer if the next leg of my trip wasn’t already scheduled. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quieter location away!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our host was fantastic, so welcoming and kind. She left free snacks and water for all guests which was a really thoughtful treat. The location was good, we hired a bike to get around but generally location was in a quiet spot and took us just a few minutes to get into town on the bike. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend this stay and we’d definitely stay again.

I fled a party hostel because I didn't realize there was going to be a DJ booth right outside my door. Needless to say, Joy was truly my savior! Without her, I would have been subjected to two more nights of music shaking the walls and my eardrums all night. The place is great! Clean, comfortable, and complimentary water/coffee available. It's a quick walk from some great restaurants and a good night market. Come here if you want a more quiet and authentic experience. Only downside is that it's about 20 minutes away fro Ao Nang, but I'll gladly pay that price to be away from the chaos. Joy is a wonderful host as well. She gladly helped not only me but other travelers with coordinating our day. Thank you so much Joy!

Excellent place a short walk from night markets, bars and river. Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing value for money. Comfortable and clean and free drinking water, hot drinks & snacks provided. Not a mad party hostel. It's super chilled and you'll get a good night's sleep here.
