The self-check in was a breeze. I was a bit worried about that because I had read complaints of that aspect of Guide hotels in Taipei. We went to drop off our luggage before our rooms were ready and luckily, there was still front staff to help us. We asked for bottles of water which they were fine with giving us. The room was huge. There is both a standing shower with 6 interesting jets and a bathtub with its own shower head. The beds were big. The only fault I can find is the AC was a bit cranky. For the price range, I think the rooms are definitely 5-star. I have definitely stayed at hotels that are 4x the price that had worse facilities. The location is very convenient. Lots of great cafes, restaurants nearby, close to the ShinJuKu shopping area and the MRT. We left our luggage in the lobby again the day we departed and picked it up pretty late at night with no problem.

The room has quite a few steps, and I've found myself tripping over them. This may not be the most accessible option for elderly guests. However, aside from that issue, I have no other complaints about the hotel. They offered amenities like washing machines, a dryer, and a 24-hour friendly front desk. The location is excellent—quiet and very well-maintained. If I return to Kaohsiung, this hotel will definitely be my top choice. P.S.: If you or your children become ill, there’s a clinic and pharmacy nearby where you can receive treatment.

No frills hotel! I’ve stayed here a couple of times now when visiting Kaohsiung. It’s a pretty decent hotel, basic, simple and clean. I’ve always had assistance when checking in which was a good thing because the second time, something went wrong and staff were able to assist me and correct the error that the self check in machine caused. I like the fact that they have a room that accommodates 3 people. We got that room and it was spacious. The bathtub is pretty cool. Last time we didn’t have a shower curtain and water went everywhere so I asked for one and the next day we got it. Location is good too!
