San Hua Hotel is perfectly located at the heart of Kaohsiung old town, very close to the famous and beautiful Formosa Boulevard MTR station. There are tons of restaurants, convenient stores and coffee bars around. Not too quiet but okay. The only issue was that the hotel and rooms were a little bit outdated and smell not good. The breakfast was free and good though.

??Front desk service is friendly and helpful, there's 24hrs coffee at the lobby and mini snacks. ??Pros: Room amenities are complete, coin laundry, 7-eleven, PX Mart etc. nearby with daily Breakfast included. Somewhat close to the night market. ? Cons: Room conditions are a little old, bedsheets caused rashes and bedbug bites. Hotel is quite a distance away from MRT. ?️Directions: Recommend to walk from the xinyi elementary orange line instead of Formosa (Red) station. If taking from Formosa for old people do exit from Exit 1. Although Exit 11 is closer but it only have stairs. ?Night market: Liuhe night market is right outside exit 11 (stairs only). Highly recommended to visit the night market.

There was typhoon when we stayed in this hotel. We felt totally safe. We always start our day with heavy breakfast. Coffee was available at the lobby all day/night. Short walk from train stations and night market

We stayed here for 1 night and I booked this place due to its proximity to Formosa Blvd station. There's not much choice on the breakfast though. But still recommend due to its location and kind staff. Room is clean, too.

Covering variety of street food, local flavor snacks and fresh seafood, restaurants and vendors are full of both side of the road. The area of night market has been programmed for pedestrians only in the evening; the government also rebuilt the entire area to create a international tourism night market . You are able to find any kind of dishes here, the papaya milk and steamed shrimps are the signature of Kaoh siung City, a tropical and ocean city. Steak houses providing low-price and set menu for families, visitors’ favorite seafood cuisines are another highlight of Liuhe Night Market.
