Day 1 – Catch a Flight to Hong Kong
The excitement was real! I boarded my Cathay Pacific flight, and as soon as I sat down, I requested a Muslim meal during the online check in.
Fun fact: although my meal didn’t include ice cream, the super-friendly cabin crew offered me a halal-certified ice cream for free! It was a sweet (literally!) gesture that got my trip off to a great start.

Once we landed at Hong Kong International Airport, I quickly made my way to the Airport Express and hopped on the train to Kowloon Station.
It's super convenient for getting to the Tsim Sha Tsui area, where I was staying. The train ride was smooth and comfortable, and within 25 minutes, I was ready to start my adventure.
Check-in
I stayed at The Mira Hong Kong — a modern, stylish hotel with a super convenient location. It’s close to shopping areas, Kowloon Mosque, and loads of halal eateries.
The hotel really thought of everything: bidet facilities, halal breakfast options, and a room that points to the qibla — I was feeling right at home.

First Meal Stop
After freshening up, it was time to dive into some delicious halal food! I walked over to Chrisly Café Bakery, a famous halal bakery in Hong Kong. Their pastries were amazing!
Light and flaky, they're perfect for a pre-lunch treat. I couldn't resist picking up a couple of sweet treats for the road. Please note that only the bakery section is halal.

For lunch, I headed to Tagline Restaurant, a place renowned for its creative halal dishes.
Every bite was flavorful and satisfying — think vibrant, tasty dishes that blend traditional flavours with a modern twist. This Matka Pani Puri is one of my favourites!

Afternoon Adventure
After lunch, I decided to tick off one of the most iconic activities in Hong Kong — a ride on the Peak Tram!

Make sure to grab a seat on the right side of the tram for the best city views on the way up — trust me, you don’t want to miss those panoramic shots.
Once at the top, the views were beyond breathtaking. Hong Kong's skyline stretched out before me like a glittering dream.

Evening
As the sun started setting, I made my way to Central Pier 9 for a leisurely evening on the Aqua Luna Evening Harbour Cruise. The traditional red-sail junk boat set the scene for a perfect, tranquil moment.

I picked up a refreshing orange juice from their non-alcoholic drink options and just sat back, enjoying the night views of Hong Kong's stunning skyline and the calm of Victoria Harbour.
I even met a new friend: turns out, she’s from Singapore! One of the most enjoyable things about solo travel is meeting new friends during the trip.
Night Stroll & Dinner
After the cruise, I wandered over to the Ladies Market. It’s a fun place to shop for souvenirs, trinkets, and quirky items. Make sure you have cash ready, and your bargaining skills will be tested here.
If you’re into streetwear, make sure to stop by Sneakers Street nearby! You’ll find some cool kicks here.

For dinner, I went to Cuisine Cuisine, a Michelin-starred restaurant known for its exquisite Cantonese dishes.
The meal was elegant and rich with flavours, and it felt like the perfect way to end my first day in Hong Kong. Their Stir-fried Australian Lobster was totally amazing!

After such a full day, I headed back to my hotel, ready to recharge for Day 2.
Day 2 – A Magical Day at Hong Kong Disneyland!
Today was the day I had been waiting for — Hong Kong Disneyland’s 20th Anniversary Party! I was beyond excited.
Lunch Before the Fun
Before heading into the park, I stopped by Crystal Lotus Restaurant at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel for a magical lunch.
This halal-certified spot serves Disney-themed dishes, including adorable Mickey-shaped dim sum. Everything looked too cute to eat — but I managed! It was delicious and fun, a perfect pre-Disney treat.

After lunch, I hopped on the shuttle bus to the main Disneyland park.
First stop: the “Friendtastic!” Parade, which is a burst of colour, joy, and Disney magic. I loved seeing my favourite characters wave and dance through the streets.

The rest of the afternoon was spent on some of the must-try rides, and I felt like a kid again — the joy was real!
Dinner & Evening Show
Dinner was a highlight; I dined at Wayfinders’ Table in Adventureland. This newly-opened halal spot has a vibe inspired by Moana, and the food was fantastic.
We also found a prayer room with wudhu facilities nearby, which made it easy to pause for prayer. It is located in a quiet room!
Ending the Night Perfectly
The night ended with Momentous: Party in the Night Sky, a dazzling show featuring drones and lights — it was like something out of a dream!
Pro tip: If you’re watching the drone show, head to the second floor of Main Street Station. You’ll have the perfect view of the sky show, and it’s an unforgettable way to end a magical day.

Day 3 – Exploring Tsim Sha Tsui & A Delicious Farewell to Hong Kong
I woke up early and decided to take a relaxing walk around Tsim Sha Tsui. It’s such a lively and vibrant area!
My first stop was the Kowloon Mosque, the largest mosque in Hong Kong. It’s peaceful, serene, and a great spot to reflect. They also offer some free Islamic literature for browsing.

Shopping Time!
Tsim Sha Tsui is a haven for shoppers, and I was ready to pick up a few goodies! From street markets to high-end boutiques, there's something for everyone.
Believe, a store with trendy Korean fashion, had some cute pieces I couldn't resist, and I also stopped by Best Mart 360 for local snacks.
Just a quick tip: check the packaging for halal certification before making a purchase.
For beauty lovers, I highly recommend Sasa for affordable cosmetics — locals swear by it!

Getting Ready to Go
After a little more shopping, I went back to the hotel to pack up and check out.
Then, I took my luggage to Kowloon Station for in-town check-in (it’s so convenient!). If you're new to this, you can get all the details on the check-in process here.

Lunch Adventures

One last food stop before I left! I hopped on a Hong Kong tram to the Islamic Centre Canteen, known for serving some of the best halal dim sum in town.
Trust me — the hype is real!

Afterwards, I made one last stop at Wai Kee Halal Restaurant, which had been recommended to me by so many locals.
It didn’t disappoint — their roasted duck was absolutely unforgettable.

Heading Home
After my final meal, I made my way back to Kowloon Station, took the Airport Express, and was at the airport in no time. The convenience of the Airport Express really makes travel a breeze.
Before heading to my gate, I couldn't resist stopping by the Disney Store at the airport (because who can leave without one last Disney souvenir?).

Oh, and I had one last sweet treat at Imperial Patisserie, which offers a selection of halal-certified pastries. A great way to cap off a memorable trip!
As the plane took off, I looked out the window and caught a beautiful sunset — the perfect ending to my 3D2N Muslim-friendly Hong Kong adventure.
Bonus Tip – Got an Extra Day? Stay Longer and Explore More!
If you’ve got an extra day, consider a side trip to Aberdeen and PMQ for creative shops and street food.
Don’t miss the halal delights at BKK Thai Street Food Restaurant, or take a short 30-minute trip to Lamma Island for a peaceful, scenic vibe and a delicious seafood meal at Rainbow Seafood Restaurant.
Hong Kong has so much to offer, and with the right planning, it’s easy to explore while staying true to your faith and enjoying some incredible halal food.
