Honeycakes in Perth

Before my trip to Perth, everyone I knew (who had already been) told me I had to try the honeycakes from Fremantle. I looked up reviews online and it looked soooo delicious and I knew I had to try it for myself!

Usually, the honeycakes itself has alcohol in the recipe but luckily for Muslims, Honeycakes caters to us! It states on their website that should anyone like a Halal version of the Honeycakes, you have to make an order at least 3 days in advance but you have to order a whole cake instead of a couple of slabs. So it's great to share with your friends and family back home!

I remember being at a Target in Perth and calling up Honeycakes to make my order and gave my payment details on the phone so it was pretty hassle free.

Fremantle Markets Australia

Few days later I made my way to Fremantle to pick up my Honeycakes! The journey itself was enjoyable and fuss free because the market sells so many interesting items such as honey, nougats, sushi, hand made trinkets etc. I loved it.

My friends and I couldn't wait to get home to try it!! We savoured one piece each to ourselves and it was SOOO yummy. It was soft, caramel, honey, goodness. I wish it was easily available :( I'll definitely get these again if I ever visit Perth in the future!
