Korean barbecue is a thing of beauty. Just imagining the marinated meats being barbecued over the grill, cooked to perfection and waiting to be stuff in a lettuce wrap for consumption is enough to make the tummy start rumbling ? Well, meat lovers and Korean barbecue fans can rejoice! Because HanSsik Korean Grill Barbecue Restaurant located at Clementi Mall and Kallang Wave Mall has just confirmed that it has renewed its halal certification by MUIS! ? They've also reopened for dine-in during Circuit Breaker Phase 2 so you can now have your KBBQ treat without going all the way to Tampines. ?

This all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue eatery, which is run by Ministry Of Food (the group behind other popular eateries such as MOF My Izakaya and LENAS), was previously known as DaeSsikSin, and was part of the chain of DaeSsikSin outlets that are available throughout Singapore.
However, the outlets at Clementi Mall and Kallang Wave Mall have been rebranded to HanSsik following its halal-certification (to note, only these 2 outlets are halal-certified, while the remaining outlets are not halal-certified and are still called DaeSsikSin). There was previously a 3rd outlet at West Mall, but we have been informed that they have ceased operations at West Mall entirely.
At HanSsik you'll be able to enjoy their 10 to 12 different types of signature marinated meats (including beef bulgogi, marinated chicken, and spicy octopus!), while also sampling their creamy cheese dip and hearty collagen hotpot ? You'll also have access to free-flow banchan (side-dishes) and drinks!
And here's some bonus good news - from 26 June 2020 until 25 July 2020 they're having a special offer of 1 free hotpot per table! ? Limited to one hotpot per group/table, it's definitely worth it if you love catching up with your friends over some delicious Korean-style grilled beef.
