Who else is missing Bangkok? ?‍♀️ We know we are, which is why we’re glad we can still get a taste of halal Thai street food at The Original Boat Noodle! These bite-sized noodle bowls are perfect for a snack or full meal as you can eat as many as you want. ? They have a few outlets around Singapore with the latest one being in The Seletar Mall - so if you’re in the North-East you don’t have to travel to town just to enjoy their yummy Thai dishes anymore!

Their signature Boat Noodles are just $1.50 per bowl and come in 4 delicious flavours. If you like a hearty taste with a hint of acidity, try the Pathumthani soy sauce broth made with 19 herbs and a generous amount of 5 spice powder. Subtle hints of star anise and cinnamon help it pack a punch! For a creamier taste, Ayutthaya is the way to go. This dark broth is a bit richer, containing 10 herbs, spices, and a dash of coconut milk. It goes great with their light and springy noodles! ?

Creamy Tom Yum is definitely a favourite amongst their fans. The unique sweetness, sourness, and spiciness of tom yum all collide to leave you in a good mood after every bowl. It’s also topped with crispy golden wanton skin for extra crunch! Their latest flavour is the Sweet Kuey Chap which mixes herbs and spices with palm sugar for a rich taste that isn’t overpowering. You can also add on toppings like Fried Chicken Meatballs or Fried Chicken Skin if you think your bowl isn’t filling enough yet. ?

P.S. If you want to add on a snack but can’t decide between their various side dishes, the Boat Noodle Snack Sampler is here to help! Perfect for 2-3 pax, it consists of Tasty Chicken Wings, Chicken Skin, Crispy Fried Som Tam (papaya salad), and Fried Chicken Meatballs. You can split the sides with your friends and try a little bit of everything! ? Right now the sampler is going for a special price of just $16.90 (U.P. $20.60) and will make your meal so much better.

The best part about dining at Boat Noodle is that their menu has other Thai delights too! The Flame Grilled Ayam Legend ($9.90) is a new dish that’s a must-try - the chicken is marinated and seasoned before being grilled, creating a crispy skin while keeping the meat juicy and tender. ? Make sure to dip it in their special sauce for a burst of flavour! And of course, their soft and fluffy Sangkayaa ($4.90) steamed bread is great for a light and simple dessert. It even comes with a sweet pandan dip that really hits the spot after polishing off all those noodles.

If you’re dining out with friends, we recommend ordering the Bangkok Supreme Platter to get a taste of the best Thai dishes Boat Noodle has to offer. It includes Bangkok Fried Rice with a sunny-side-up egg, Chicken Skin, Tasty Chicken Wings, Thai Fried Chicken, and Deep Fried Chicken Meatballs. ? It’s great for 3-4 pax and right now it’s only $29.90 (U.P. $33.90)! So tell your friends it’s time to meet up and take a culinary journey to Thailand!
