41 Pirundae-ro, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea
There are many vegan restaurants in this Jongno district and this place is definitely worth a mention. According to the owner, the name (소이로움) means both “So-iroum (beneficial/good)” and “Soy-roum (being)”. So good. So soy. As its pretty and meaningful name, the dishes were soooooo delicious and 100% plant based. Totally recommend!
We are always welcomed with kindness, smiles and cosy feelings. Then we can say you also can feel chef's refined and artistic dishes. As far as we know, a Nobel Prize Winner Hankang is the one of frequenters, while we could understand why she love this cosy restaurant. Enjoy vegetarianism here in the center of Seoul
Wonderful place for everyone looking for fresh ingredients, veggies and flavorful dishes. We tried steak and curry and both were absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, very quick and easy to communicate with. Don’t forget to mark where you’re from on the map on the way to the restroom!
I had the steak and it was absolutely wonderful! I usually don't like fake meat (I would rather eat a vegetable than processed food.) But since it was house made I decided to give it a try. It was delightful! Did not seem very processed or "meaty". Just full of flavor. Such a pleasant atmosphere too!
If you're vegan and hungry for something more substantial than pumpkin soup, or you want to trick your friends into being vegan, you've got to go here. The food is fresh and filling. The macha latte is perfect and the restaurant is cozy. The area is lovely too, worth going out of your way to visit and take a walk after. Or hike the mountain behind & fill up here after.
