No. 102號, Section 2, Fuxing S Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106
the best breakfast place in town. i visited other places as well but i returned to this place at the end of the tour. my number one menu here was the fried dough sticks with egg. it was like a sandwich with fried stick inside with eggs. dumplings were frozen ones i believe as other soy milk place had the same recipe.
If you want an authentic Taiwanese breakfast experience, come to Yong He. Best to go early in the morning because later on in the day, long queues at both the takeout and dine in areas start to form. During my stay in Da'an district, I kept coming here for their super light and airy youtiao that's bursting with flavor. Their soy milk and salty soy milk are also top notch. Special mention also goes to their egg omelet. The atmosphere is super fast paced so you gotta know what you want before you go. If it's your first time here, be advised that the dine in line is inside and the takeout line is outside. Also, don't forget to clean up after yourself after you eat! Area at the back provided for used bowls and trays and trash as well. ??
We got the traditional dim sum , radish cake & the cold soy milk. They did have an English menu which made it easy to place an order. We did enjoy the meal and we were able to find a table to dine in.
The first thing to know is that there are two lines. One is for takeout and the other is for dining in so make sure you’re in the right one. They have mostly all the standard Taiwanese breakfast items. Everything was fresh made. The soup dumplings were good, not great. It’s my preference that they are more soupy and these were not. If I came back I would not get them again.
