One of the best dining experience I have had. Service was on spot from the very beginning. The creativity, effort, and thought put in to every dish is beyond imaginable. The chef adds experience with his enthusiasm and introduction to every dish. Truly believe this restaurant is deserving of a Michelin star.
Exquisite plant based Japanese dining in Kaohsiung. Love how they make the simplest food such as mushrooms, gourd, eggplants into something beyond your imagination! This restaurant will show you how vegetarian food can be interesting and creative!
Vegetarian sushi served in omakase set meal setting. Strongly recommend getting the seat along the sushi bar and order the set meal where the chef will interact with you and discuss the vegetables used as well as the culinary methods used. The menu will vary somewhat from day to day but the sushi is delicious. There is an option to add on for specific items at extra cost if needed. Will definitely visit again
I recently dined here with my sibling, who is vegan, and it was an absolutely fabulous experience! The vegan omakase menu was thoughtfully curated, with each course beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Even as a non-vegan, I was blown away by the creativity and attention to detail in every dish. The chefs did an amazing job showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients in unique ways, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each course. It was such a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone—vegan or not! Can’t wait to visit again!
Reserved Sushi Counter vegan Kaiseki course at the sushi bar. There were six customers at this sitting (the friendly and capable chef with his assistant made all the vegan sushi right in front of our eyes), and chef timed it to make sure we were engaged and eating at a tempo. Just one well executed, beautiful and delicious sushi creations after another. We have eaten vegan sushi around the world but this place was by far the number one! Delectable “egg custard” made with soy milk and perfectly grilled zucchini and miso soup accentuated the course of incredible sushi pieces. No alcohol beverage available because they respect largely Buddhist vegetarian clientele but we enjoyed a few glasses if non-alcoholic wines. Very inexpensive also. Strongly recommended!
