a zen styled vegetarian place... The food was tasty and of high quality. I had the set meal for one person, which came with a decent portion size. However, if you eat like a horse, you might need to order extra dishes.
A very high-ended vegetarian restaurant that was recommended by a friend, and it wasn't disappointed. Many people think vegetarian food would be boring and tasteless, but the dishes we had were so delicious and we were so impressed. You could tell the owner/chef had put a lot of hardwork and thoughts into making those dishes. However, the price is on an expensive side.
Located on the 2nd floor (with elevator), the place exudes calm and serenity except when the place is full, then conversation becomes impossible. Strictly vegetarian but carnivores will not even notice because the finely crafted dishes are so good ?. The menu is extensive and guaranteed to satisfy. There are dimsum (yamcha or snack plates) and there are full bodied complicated culinary masterpieces with entrees and main courses, many with parallels in non vegan dishes. Drinks and a whole range of yummy desserts also on the menu.
Amazing food! Our party of 10 all thought the food was delicious! My personal favorites were the red tea taro steak (which fooled my father who thought there was pork in there!), taro rice noodles, tofu with tea sauce, and bay cabbage with sesame oil. Service was attentive and truly appreciated the main server, a super thoughtful lady, paying attention to my husband's dietary restrictions making sure to exclude added sugar to the dishes we ordered. The restaurant had a charming interior and also allows large groups to dine without time restrictions unlike many other busy restaurants. There's an elevator to the second floor where the restaurant is so wheelchair accessibility is quite good. Highly recommend this place!!
Hands down the best vegan experience I’ve ever had. I was honestly a bit nervous about the flavor, but everything completely blew me away. The pumpkin in orange sauce was a dream, the tofu (which they kindly made eggless for me) was perfect, the tempura mushrooms were next level, and even the rice, finally, rice in Taiwan that wasn’t bland! Every single dish went above my expectations. I genuinely want to eat here every day, and I don’t say that often. I know the photo I took doesn’t do it justice (it was a quick shot), but trust me: flavor-wise, this place is sublime. If you’re vegan and in Taipei, do yourself a favor and go.
