This is a great place for Dim Sum, that's what I searched for, and I found an awesome place for it--even at dinner time. The ambience was good, not fantastic, but definitely "chinesey." The service was attentive and accommodating. The dim sum items were not super a lot, but enough for us to be satisfied. We have different kinds of dumplings, and they were very very good. Soft scrumptious and good texture. We love the gyoza with the vinegar; we love the carrot cake, we love the chives dumplings, beancurd sheet roll etc etc. And the chilli that comes with it is very complimentary. We love the vegetarian satay with the peanut sauce. The sauce is definitely very piquant with just the righ amount of spiciness. We over ate... We ordered the fried kway teow, and man it's so good. It has the wok hei of the regular char kway teow in sweet sauce (dry style). It's not overly sweet, and has a tinge of saltiness and lots of veggies. And the mushroom... the sauce is very unique, can't really describe it... it is mildly sweet and salty (not oyster sauce), and most of all the mushroom is SUCCULENT! The Onee (yam dessert) is very thick and... chewy. It is not sweet but full of yam goodness. It is prepared in a unique way where the gravy is clear, and separate from the yam paste. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, a place to slow down and eat with friends. The place is cozy and the service is warm and the food is fantastic. And the price is very reasonable (to me).
Yuan Xiang Vegetarian Restaurant - 134 Changi Road Visited Yuan Xiang Vegetarian Restaurant at 134 Changi Road and had a delightful experience. I ordered the Fried Foo Yong Egg, Stir-Fried Baby Kai Lan, and Sweet and Sour Mushrooms. Fried Foo Yong Egg: The portion was huge and it tasted great. The egg was fried to perfection, and it had a wonderful texture and flavor. Stir-Fried Baby Kai Lan: Fresh and well-seasoned, this dish was a perfect complement to the meal. Sweet and Sour Mushrooms: This was my favorite dish. The mushrooms were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious sweet and sour sauce that was just right. 菊花茶 (Chrysanthemum Tea): Unfortunately, the chrysanthemum tea lacked flavor and was quite bland. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and I especially enjoyed the Sweet and Sour Mushrooms. Despite the disappointing tea, I would recommend Yuan Xiang Vegetarian Restaurant for their tasty vegetarian dishes.

Every single dish on the menu is vegetarian, most items maybe even vegan. It's a local and cozy chinese restaurant, the service was lovely. The menu offers plenty of traditional dishes made with plant based ingredients, there was so much flavor in everything I ate. I liked especially the Monkey mushrooms and the veggie ribs. My boyfriend is a meat eater and still liked everything we ordered.
Traditional looking vegetarian restaurant . Did some takeaway food. The food is generally flavored on the stronger side Black pepper udon has strong peppery taste Olive fried rice - well seasoned and can taste the wok char. Beancurd with mixed sotong bits - taste is more unique with crispy bits. Standout item Stir fried Monkey head mushroom - heavily spiced with prominent ginger taste. Braided sea cucumber - the "sea cucumber" is from konnyaku. This dish doesn't stand out.
