23 Ewhayeodae 3-gil, Daehyeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Mau nasi?? Nasi adaaa!! Those were the words of the warm, Malay-speaking Korean gentleman who greeted us at the door of his shop. This cosy, family friendly atmosphere of a restaurant provides Halal, freshly cooked Korean-style chicken and noodles and off course, with fluffy hot nasi (rice) (and many other dishes). And cheaper too as compared to other outlets! So if you find yourself and company hungry, tired and cold on a Winter's day (or any other season), give this place a go! Its definitely one of my fav places, and who knows it could be yours too!
While searching for halal food in Seoul, I had to rely lots on the published lists, but from the grapevine (specifically a muslim friend that has been staying in Seoul for >3 years), this was a place too. I noticed the place was not listed, so I added this listing in hopes that the kind, warm, and friendly uncle that tries his hardest to speak Malay and let us know of the halal food choices gets more eyeballs. As for the food, the fried chicken is bonafide Korean chicken, perfect companion with the warm and fluffy rice. Do give it a try if you are looking for halal korean fried chicken. Oh it was also very affordably priced!
The food was awesome and delicious ??????
All time favourite everytime we went to Seoul. We will find hostel nearby so we could have dinner there.
Delicious. The boneless chicken is halal.
