My boyfriend and I came to Tokyo to hop on a cruise back to Canada and had many, many amazing meals and small bites along the way…. This place was by far my favorite!!!! We chose the No. 1 Farm Course, it was just perfect! Our waitress shared their story of farm to table… and all you can drink while you eat!
What a fantastic meal! We both ordered the recommended No. 1 Farm Course set and weren’t in the least disappointed. Everything was flavourful and unique (even the more typical burrata had wonderfully natural tomato and pesto sauces). The sweet kale salad had a great dressing, the deep fried beet nuggets (with beet and buffalo sauces) were a new experience, the tofu with raw soy sauce tasted very clean and natural. The deep fried cauliflower wasn’t bad either. What stole the show were the meats. The beef was very tender and packed with flavour, topped with mustard seeds that added the perfect accent. The chicken was our favourite; it’s slow cooked (sous vide) and was the most tender chicken we’ve ever had. It’s no exaggeration to say that it flattened when cut into, much like you’d find when cutting into raw chicken. It truly was a “wow” moment for us. The finishing kale fried rice had a pleasant garlic flavour, but it wasn’t overpowering with it. The Japanese-British (I assume) server explained every dish with a smile. It was such a pleasant dining experience that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and we’d love to come back again.
On our way to the Mori Museum we stopped into this beautiful little restaurant. They say salad bar with the most delicious fresh ingredients all organic. No alcohol but they do have one kale beer, which surprisingly was delicious. Concept is all you can eat build by the hour.
Everything about this place is so cozy, comfortable, and absolutely delicious. The No. 1 Farm Course was more than filling and full of such a good variety of fresh veggies (the snap peas were absolutely amazing) and tender meats. Music selection and vibe is so great! Finally, the staff were all absolutely joys to talk to. All of them were so friendly and well-informed about the food being served.
Has a seasonal vegetable-centric menu which is harder to find in the area. Food was very high quality and very well seasoned. Extremely fresh ingredients as you’d expect from a restaurant serving this type of food. Very friendly bilingual (English) staff and menus, the staff were able to accommodate a food allergy for one member of the party. Very cute serving utensils shaped like farm implements (shovel and pitchfork). ?
