An amazing vegetarian cafe housed inside the Taiwanese Buddhist temple. As a vegan, there were so many delicious options to choose from, whether you wanted a full meal, snacking foods, or both. Really enjoyed the 'meat' options as they were so flavourful, and our meals were all generous enough to leave us feeling pretty full and satisfied. We visited on New Years Day, which was a busy day but there were still lots of seating options inside and out, and our meals were also promptly served. There is also plenty of space for parking. I'd suggest a visit to the temple too as the grounds and temple itself are beautiful. Highly recommend for a mid-day meal!
I came here for lunch after praying at the temple. Food tastes great. Not only can you get Chinese food, but also food from southeast Asia. The restaurant is clean and price is reasonable.
Lovely serene place to eat NB: this is a temple with the cafe attached. There is a dress code, both men and women have to cover your limbs. Skirts & pants with sleeved shirts/t-shirts. Very reasonable priced totally plant based menu. Vegetarian & vegan only with gluten free options as well.
Came for lunch but kitchen closes at 2:15, not 3pm and restaurant doors close 2:45pm. Got here just after 2:15 and couldn't have food at all. Not all desserts are fully vegetarian as they contain eggs. Temple complex is amazing but would have enjoyed more time if I wasnt so hungry.
Fast service, reasonable prices, large portions and great location. Some of the best vegetarian food I've had. Have tried the roti curry, laksa noodles and wonton noodle soup so far and all have been delicious.
