Had a nice peaceful dinner by myself on a Tuesday evening. Came here around 7pm, it was not busy. Unfortunately, they did not have any yakitori today. It was my first time here. It was good to try. I w.ould come back again to try some yakitori and some A5 Wagyu. Everything tasted fresh! The price is very reasonable.

The food is soo good. Ordered chicken katsu bento set. The portion is large and the taste is marvellous. There is so much menu you can choose from. The ambience is so dim and cozy. So suitable for business meeting or even date with your beloved. It is quite pricey but  soo worth it. Will definitely come again and try other menu. ☺️

The restaurant’s exterior is really inviting, with beautiful decor that beckons you in. I finally decided to give it a try after seeing their “business lunch from RM29.90” promotion flyer hanging outside their restaurant for the longest time.

The RM29.90 option turned out to be the curry katsu or katsu don. I was honestly quite disappointed with the portion of curry. It felt like they just drizzled two spoonfuls over the katsu chicken. When I asked about it, the waitress, who was very apologetic, explained that this was the standard serving. But really, curry is something you usually make in bulk… why be so stingy with it? Might I add that the restaurant had like 20% of customers only around lunchtime.

A few of us ordered the same dish so we asked for more curry. Waitress said they cannot give extra. But somehow I guess the staff must have noticed our disappointment because she later brought out an extra bowl of curry (about five spoonfuls) and mentioned that they normally don’t do this. So then four of us had to share that one bowl… As you can guess, we had to eat really dry chicken with rice and also small bits of potatoes. Three quarters way into our dining then she brought out another bowl of curry (this time about 7 spoonfuls) for us to share again. It’s like what’s the point when everyone is almost done eating. I swear the tissue saying “fine dining” was mocking me.

Service and ambience was really good but I cannot imagine ordering the same food again… Perhaps it’s a place you should only their beef stuff hmm.

“ DISASTROUS “

I recently visited Wagyu Master for their Valentine’s Day set dinner, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the food itself was decent, the service was incredibly slow, to the point where it overshadowed any positives of the meal.

The 7-course meal sounded promising, but the execution was far from ideal. We waited nearly half an hour between each course, which made the dinner feel unnecessarily drawn out. It wasn’t just our table either—other diners around us seemed equally frustrated, with many visibly annoyed by the delays. I can confidently say that anyone who dined there that night would likely share the same sentiment.

One particularly frustrating moment was when the staff presented the wagyu to us, only to take it back to the kitchen to cook. After waiting 20 minutes, they returned to present the wagyu *again*, seemingly unaware they had already shown it to us earlier. Meanwhile, we were still waiting for our cooked wagyu to actually arrive at the table. This kind of disorganization was baffling and added to the overall sense of inefficiency.

Towards the end of the meal, it felt like the staff had completely given up on maintaining any semblance of order. They decided to serve the dessert first, completely disregarding the proper sequence of courses (as shown in the picture). To make matters worse, they didn’t even bother to clear the finished dishes from the table, opting to place the dessert on top of the empty plates instead. It was almost comical, but at that point, it just felt like a fitting end to a chaotic dining experience. ?? RIP.

As for the food, it was okay but not exceptional. The wagyu, for instance, was fine, but it didn’t stand out as something memorable. Given the high-end reputation of the restaurant, I expected much more in terms of both quality and service. The kitchen and staff seemed completely overwhelmed, which is surprising for an establishment of this caliber.

To add insult to injury, they even forgot about the flower bouquet that was supposed to surprise my girlfriend after dessert. This was supposed to be a special touch for Valentine’s Day, but it was completely overlooked. By the time we finished dinner, it was 10:45 PM—over two hours after we started at 8:30 PM. What was meant to be a romantic evening turned into a test of patience. ?

Overall, the slow service and lack of coordination really dampened the experience. For a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, it was disappointing to see such a lack of preparation and efficiency. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, as it’s a shame to see their reputation compromised by what seems like poor management.
