Amazing service to go with some great Italian cuisine. We had the grilled pan seared cod and it was absolutely perfectly cooked with a very subtle but delicious sauce that complimented the fish very well. The burrata is a fun and tasty dish worth trying if you like mild, soft cheese. The gnocchi had a great texture was served with very tasty tomato and pesto sauce which did the dish justice. Overall, a great dining experience especially with the very attentive staff providing excellent service.

Excellent food, the Italian chef from Italy Genevo was extremely professional, helpful and the special dishes he prepared were absolutely amazing. 5 star! The staff was very sweet and very helpful. The food was excellent, we will definitely come back

I went to Villa Danieli to celebrate my birthday with a friend about a couple of weeks ago and was utterly disappointed by the quality of food and service at this establishment. The focaccia was stale. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water and they only poured it once, and then only before dessert did they refill our glasses AFTER we had to request. Calamari was rubbery and overcooked and coating was terrible that it fell off, probably because the dish used was a narrow bowl that all the calamari was stacked and softened the coating. The main dishes were served late, more than normal waiting time, probably more than 15 mins, and we had ordered everything at the beginning of the dinner. We even had 2 courses before the main dish so it was impossible that they couldn't serve us within an acceptable waiting time. Also there were probably only 2-3 other tables being served, it wasn't full house at all. In the end, my friend's aglio e olio pasta was undercooked (and yes, we know how al dente pasta tastes like!) and this was also confirmed by another acquaintance who visited this place a few days later. My seasonal truffle dish was unimpressive (potato, mushrooms, fish - all fried, not even a smear of a sauce to give it some variety in taste). Same goes to the mushroom soup, probably just blendered everything as it had no texture at all, and the cream on top of the soup actually separated (drizzled when it was cold perhaps?). I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE especially if you're celebrating a special occasion. I only rate this restaurant 1 star for ambience and attitude of floor staff (the waiters were pleasant especially a certain male staff). To Management, please take comments of your patrons seriously, otherwise people will not be coming back.

been here few times.  great atmosphere. had mushroom soup which was excellent. seafood soup was not so good.  the mussel n clamps has fishy smell but the prawns were very fresh n tasty.
we asked for beef tartar but it wasn't on the menu. it was on a promo menu few months ago n it was fantastic. The supervisor says they can do the tartar dish for us.  but the beef tartar turns out to be a great letdown.  it was dry, tasteless,  chewy.  halfway thru, the supervisor walked passed n asked how it was.  told him it was badly done n he aso says that he can see it is dry. he offered to get us another one.   this round it was slightly better but still a letdown.
big disappointment on the main dish veal chop.  was coated in batter.  meat was moist but tasteless n I really thought it tasted like chicken breast if not for the rib bone sticking out from the big piece of meat.
we didn't finish the second replacement beef tartar neither did we finish the veal chop.
great dissapointment except for the mushroom soup n the fluffy breads was good.
I recalled the last few trips here the food was excellent n the pizza, risotto n spaghetti was really good.  Probably a changed of chef??  I hope they will get their act back quickly as I loved the ambience here.
