What a gem! My husband and i tried to go to root vegan but their kitchen closed at 8:30 even though they're open until 9:30, so they recommended that we try veggie 4 love and I'm so glad we came! It's an experience from the start. Right when you step off the elevator you're transported to USA 1950s-60s. I love Lucy is playing in the background amongst a large collection of random American memorabilia. I decided on the trip to Bali and it was so delicious! The faux meat and the tofu were extra crispy and the flavor of the coconut rice was delightful. The prices are similar to dining out in the states but i love supporting an all vegan business, so that didn't matter so much to me. If i had more time in Hong Kong, I'd definitely come back here.
Cute restaurant with a variety of vegan options! Even my meat-eating friends were impressed ? note that they only take cash/FPS/PayMe.
A bit hard to find. It's inside a business building on the 10th floor. Look for it. A brightly lit lobby with a list of businesses on the wall. It's worth it. The atmosphere is adorable 50s memorabilia. I Love Lucy is playing on an old TV. So much to look at. The food is amazing. I had the Ocean Breeze which is like a vegan Pho. But so many flavor surprises. I highly recommend. And the Lavendar lime chamomile tea was lovely. I wish I had time to come back and try something else.
It’s on the 10th floor of a commercial building in Central, but once inside, the decor and ambience leaves the outside world behind. On the day we had lunch there, we were the sole patrons and the staff gave us all their attentions. Since I do not like garlic and onion, the server informed me that the menu has symbols showing which dish has those and upon request, she would find out if those can be skipped. We ordered a salad and a main dish for each of us. The price could feel expensive for some, but the food is really good. The surprise addition to the menu is a set meal of hot pot, and I really would like to try if it wasn’t for the hot weather here. I will definitely try that the next time I come to Hong Kong.
A very cool place, decorated with many 90s items. Creative vegan dishes with very good taste. The chocolate molten cake is a must try! The homemade vegan ice cream tastes SO rich ?
