Food is always amazing! They only have one server so it can take a bit when they’re busy but this never bothers me as the food never misses! Complimentary tea is good. Super cheap and right in the heart of china town. The mock pork steamed buns are a must try!

Today was the Lunar New Year’s celebration all along Mott Street, cordoned off for the parade! We were going to have dim sum next door but it was full, packed with everyone queued all the way inside past the entrance doors into the restaurant … so we went here to the Vegetarian Dim Sum [next door] which was sparsely crowded and surprisingly quieter. The interiors are very modest. But have ample seating for larger parties and family gatherings. The dim sum menu selection is very unique, so if it’s a first time ordering, it takes awhile to figure out what each of the items are in its description. Completely vegan of course. And the service is super prompt and very good. The style of this dim sum is greatly different, from places generally patronized serving dim sum in this part of Chinatown. And curiously, rather uncertain of which region the restaurant’s cuisine is originally based on, from the items seen on its menu. The portions are really hugely generous. With the dough around the dim sum very thick and unctuous. The fillings depending on what kind of greens selected, are seemingly very freshly cooked and made daily. Their deep fried egg rolls are not to miss! An absolutely sensational dish alongside dipping them into duck sauce! So delicious ! And the steamed sweet red bean pieces really sensational also. Made of a sweet rice dough with a sweetened filling. Overall, even as takeout, the leftovers are certainly fantastic, so much more delicious afterwards when eaten cold or at room temperature later for a midnight snack. The prices are moderate. Though one could be said the same for regular non-vegan meat dim sum large or small. Highly recommended but be reminded it’s (CASH Only) … No worries! There’s a Chase Branch blocks nearby within walking distance not too far from here and a BOA ATM, too. Otherwise, such an enjoyable food experience for brunches and all other occasions included too! Super family-friendly!

I was happy to come across this restaurant with a completely vegetarian menu. I liked the aged interior. This might not be an attractive atmosphere to some, this place seems old. The food here is very delicious, I got the steamed turnip cakes and this other one with vegan meat..woooow so delish. Also the staff was very nice. I liked this place a lot! I hope to return. CASH ONLY
