Ibrahim Al Khalil, street, dahla al rushud, Makkah Saudi Arabia
Amazing tasty food and super cheap prices, I came after seeing many positive reviews on google. But the restaurant condition is really bad. Please decorate the shop to make it look nice and have an electric fly trap as there are many flies which disturb while eating.
Excellent food and truly authentic. Highly recommend malai tikka and seekh kebab. The other dishes we tried were Nihari and chicken tikka. I'll definitely go again. If you are staying in one of the 5 star hotels then don't expect the same ambience. It caters to the masses but the food is worth the trip. The owner is also a super helpful guy (Zeeshan) and can be trusted to distribute food on your behalf. Popular options include either a box of rice and peas or chicken biryani.
Had aloo paratha with chai for breakfast. Huge size and great taste for an excellent price (3 SAR/paratha) which includes complimentary halwa. For some reason chai is super sweet in all restaurants I have tried so far in Saudi but at least they didn't use condensed milk. I also tried grilled chicken leg and it was very delicious. Overall highly recommended.
Alot of food varietes but satff is very incompetent today in ramazan i visited hotel at aftari the staff were busy in own aftari and no ekram muslim even dont offer water to customer which make me angry so much and leave the hotel at that time. Being a muslim the staff should offer water and dates to the muslim as an obligation.
I am giving it 5 stars even though the service is poor and atmosphere dhaba type . The place is chaotic, not professionally run and interior / decor lacks high cleanliness standards. Consider it a typical Pakistani small town road side restaurant. But the food is exceptionally good. Loved it! So if you are craving for excellent Pakistani food, this place will meet and exceed your expectations. Service is polite and friendly, if and when you get the waiter’s attention. One must place food order at the entrance and then go upstairs. This tends to block the narrow entrance, and being a very busy and popular restaurant. My question to the owners …. “with such excellent food, why not make the place more organized and cleaner and raise your prices just a bit” (prices are already quite low by Saudi and Western standards. Personally, the restaurant atmosphere and cleanliness standards didn't bother us much as it reminded us of home (Pakistan), now settled in USA for almost 50 years. Will eat here many times more. Worth it!!!
