You can stay for 12 hours here while waiting for the flight. They have a "Green Area" where you can camping and lying inside the tent. Regarding to sleeps, you have three choices: Private Room/Mat seat/Premium seat (with a computer). If you bought the 12-hours package, the drinks are free but you have to pay for the food. You can also use Priority Pass to discount 3.400 JPY from total bills or to choose a 3-hour package (with compliment meal).
At Kansai Airport bus beside Hotel Nikko. I had left Kyoto early and looked around Osaka for the day before heading for my night flight. Easy to find. They offer a range of services. I used their shower facilities. You receive a basket with shampoo sachet, comb, small towel, and body scrub. Their is a body wash and conditioner within the shower cubicle. Separate female and male. There were 3 female cubicles. A coat hangers and basket were in the area to undress. Like everything Japanese small, tight in size. The water was hot. I was told I had 40 minutes. The charge 1500 yen. I understand that inside once through customs, there is another shower area, and I saw the sign but didn't investigate. I had time on my side before check-in, so I elected to do it here. I understand the one inside is 800 yen. The water was hot, cubicle clean. After dressing when you come out of the cubicle, there are mirrors and hair-dryer x3. I think it steep in reality for a quick shower. They had private rooms, cafe facilities, and what they call green space. Now I'm a senior, and through my eyes, they are targeting the younger travellers. I certainly felt fresher for my long-haul flight. It's worth checking out, as it may make you feel better rather than sitting (if you can find a seat) in the busy ever ebb and flow of the terminal.
We paid ¥3,400 for 3 hours per person of private room lounge with free access to the green camping area with hammock and unlimited free drinks (coffee menu and sodas) there's also curry, pasta, and food menu available for additional cost. Shared bathrooms are nice. There's also a slipper, mattress and blankets free for use. The individual private recliner seat with TV could be hot and loud.
