PROS: -Tasty and authentic Indonesian food -Small family run business -open and airing to the street side -Location is convenient -Very Reasonable priced. CONS: -Just about every dish has garlic. They tried to accommodate my garlic allergy. OVERALL Impression This is a hidden food gem that I am glad we found. Give it a try.
Been a few years since we've been here, so it was great to see this place was here. Decent Indonesian food. The fried rice was good and so was the sambal cuttlefish and the beef short ribs. Satay was ok (different tender style vs charcoal grilles). Unfortunately the lontong was a little bland for our liking. Still worthy of a try if you want some Indonesian food.
Got a stir fry with a tonne of veggies which was great, not a light meal if you were wondering because it was very oily, had a small serving of prawn crackers on the side which were kinda stale ngl. Beef sambal was thick and heavy with flavour, delicious. Stir fried water spinach was juicy.
A wonderful authentic local Indonesian eatery right in the heart of the city, had the ayam goreng, beef crispy strips, grilled calamari with tumeric sauce, fried kangkung and some yummy chicken satay! Served promptly, we had a great lunch!!! Thank you, we will be back
