The Prophet Lebanese Cafe in East Victoria Park is a cherished spot in Perth, known for its authentic Lebanese cuisine and warm hospitality. On a recent weeknight visit with a large group, the experience lived up to its strong reputation. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself has a fairly simple interior, but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. While the decor isn’t overly elaborate, it creates a comfortable space to enjoy a meal. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating, which adds to the relaxed and casual dining experience. The menu is extensive, offering a range of Middle Eastern favourites. We started with a selection of meze, including smooth and flavourful hommos, smoky baba ghanouj, creamy labneh served with crisp fried bread chips, crunchy falafel, and fresh tabouleh bursting with parsley and lemon. Each dish was well-prepared, highlighting quality ingredients and authentic flavours. The food came out promptly, and the serving sizes were generous, making it perfect for sharing. Everything was simple but done exceptionally well, hitting the spot without any unnecessary frills. The service was another highlight. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, ensuring that our large group was well looked after. Their warmth and efficiency made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is also BYO, which is a nice touch for those wanting to pair their meal with their own wine or beer. Overall, The Prophet Lebanese Cafe delivers an excellent dining experience with great food, generous portions, and standout hospitality. It’s a place that feels welcoming whether you’re visiting with a big group or just stopping by for a casual meal.

Had a fantastic night at this restaurant! The staff were terrific so friendly and the food was delicious. There were 5 of us and we had the set menu (meat) and every dish was delicious. Very generous serving size also. The dips were so yummy! We will be back again! Thank you Prophet staff for wonderful service

It's quite a good restaurant for Lebanese food in Perth, and that it has been around for many years speaks to it. The grilled meats are OK and quite tender. Sauces are strongly flavoured and can be nice but also a bit too overpowering. Overall, not bad. It's just not amazing compared to what you can get in the middle east.
