Where do I begin with the Malayan Council? These guys take hospitality to the next level. From smiles and greetings the very moment you step in to waving you goodbye, they’ve got their customer service filled to the brim. My go-to whenever I come here is Rendang kobe salai Pasta, crunchy baby squid and the putu piring cake. Always on point and always so tasty. Heads up, their portions are HUGEEE. This means you’ve gotta either plan your order well or just tapao any leftover which they are happy to do for you at the end of your meal! They’re always including in complimentary dishes and cake slices to your orders so that’s a wonderful gesture I can always be thankful to them for. A special shout out to Jennie and Mimi for hosting us with such gracious smiles and friendly chit chats. Thank you so much for being a wonderful place for us to hang out and chill! First time i ate at this restaurant was back in 2019. I have been dreaming of the putu piring cake ever since. Then Covid happened and i for 2 pregnancies i craved for the cake. Today in 2025 i was given the opportunity to visit Singapore and dine at this restaurant- still taste perfect! So much so i have to takeaway and hand carry back to KUL. The service staffs are simply helpful and amazing. Love them! Must must try place when in SG!

I came here to celebrate my children birthday. All of us love the food And the cakes. The squid and chicken wings are fantastic. The mains like smoked duck pasta and fish were very delicious. The staff especially Mimi and Riqin are very friendly. Mimi even provided free birthday cake slices to celebrate my children birthday. We will come again for the food and excellent warm service.

Absolutely Outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the meal. And the food? Simply exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. It’s rare to find a place where both service and food are this consistently excellent.
