Hotel Marine Plaza, 29 Marine Drive, 2nd Cross Rd, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400020, India
We visited The Bayview Restaurant @ Marine Plaza to celebrate our daughter's birthday. It was amazing to sit by the window and watch Marine Drive hustle-bustle. We were served by Sakshi, who was phenomenal in her work. She was diligent , there was a language barrier, but she overcame that so well . We had a variety of veg and non veg dishes like Aloo chatpata, lal mirch murgh tika, veg club sandwich, roasted tomato soup, etc. Each of them was a tasty treat. We had seen a particular delicacy in their online menu and we inquired whether it was available since we couldn't see it in the menu. Sakshi assured that she would request the chef to make the dish since the new menu had come into recently. When she realised that we were there to celebrate our daughter's birthday, she arranged for a cake on the house with an announcement by the live music band. It made the birthday girl feel special and amazing. We had a fab time. Thanks for making the evening so special.
Stunning sea views, elegant interiors, and delicious food – The Bayview is a gem right opposite Marine Drive. Perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful sunset dinner with both Indian and continental options. The biryani was flavorful, and the grilled chicken dish was beautifully done. Great buffet spread and excellent service. Ideal for a relaxed, scenic meal in the heart of Mumbai.
The Bayview Restaurant, Marine Plaza – A Serene Start to the Day We visited The Bayview Restaurant at Marine Plaza, Churchgate for their breakfast buffet, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The setting is nothing short of stunning — with an amazing view of the Arabian Sea, especially on a monsoon morning. Watching the rain roll in while enjoying a warm breakfast was a beautiful and calming way to start the day. The buffet spread was impressive, offering a great variety of both Indian and continental options. From fresh fruits and hot South Indian delicacies to eggs made to order and flaky pastries, there was something to suit every palate. The staff was exceptionally well-trained, courteous, and helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly and making the experience feel personalized and pleasant. If there’s one area that could use a little refinement, it would be the dessert selection — while adequate, it lacked the finesse and variety you’d expect from an otherwise well-rounded buffet. That said, it was an overall excellent experience. The combination of a serene ambience, great food, and attentive service makes this a spot we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended, especially for a relaxed morning by the sea.
