If you're in Hanoi and craving authentic Indian cuisine, Tandoor Restaurant is a must-visit. This has become my frequent go-to spot for a reason: the food is consistently excellent, and the service is top-notch. The flavors are rich, and the variety is impressive, offering everything from tender tandoori dishes to flavorful curries and fresh naan. Mr. Ravi, the owner, is a truly humble and welcoming person. Sachin, the manager, is incredibly attentive and goes out of his way to make sure everything runs smoothly and makes sure guest have best experience. You can always count on his friendly demeanor and prompt service. Mannan, the head chef, deserves a special mention for crafting dishes that are not only delicious but also perfectly spiced, bringing authentic Indian flavors to Hanoi. Overall, Tandoor is a fantastic place to enjoy great food and service, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area looking for a wonderful dining experience!
First Indian restaurant visit in Hanoi Old quarter with an amazing ambience, hygiene and a very nice service. The food was really tasty with proper spices added and served really fast. We really enjoyed having our food here. Masala Dal was outstanding. They serve a good amount of vegetable salad to enjoy with our food. Highly recommended for their service and ambience.
Are you kidding me… I had to come to Hanoi to experience this? The BEST indian food I had ever, and my husband who was in India, said it was at the same level as the best he ate there. Also, we are European and it was very flavourful and just the right amount of spicy. If I lived here I would be a regular. Romantic music and quiet on top. Food came quickly. I feel like the negative reviews were made by competitors. We enjoyed it a lot. Whiskey Sour top notch. One small problem though,… I now want a Tandoor for our home! ??
Great food. We're no experts, but have tried about 10 Indian restaurants in Hanoi, and were blown away by Tandoor's garlic naan. Its portion seems to be a bit smaller than at other places though. The curries were delicious. Prices are medium to slightly high. We'll happily come back again!
I recently tried the chicken biryani here, and it exceeded my expectations. The rice was incredibly flavorful, infused with rich spices, and the chicken was perfectly tender and juicy. The portion size was just right for one person and reasonably priced, making it great value for money. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, making it ideal for both small gatherings and larger groups. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended for biryani lovers!
