After reading reviews we tried our first teh tarik here, as well as our first rotis. We had the banana roti and a cheese one which came with a lovely tamarind-flavoured curry/dip: everything was delicious. The restaurant is extremely clean, and staff welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend!
thick enough to consume as gravy over any number of carbo options. aromatic and tasty debris bespeaks of its long and loving incubation. mutton is tasty enough, but is shade too tough. that's the line between high credit and distinction.
Alhamdulillah.. Allahumma barik. Had one of the best Beef soups of Penang in this tiny little place. The Beef soup was very delicious and tasted like home cooked ‘Nihari (Bangladeshi style)’. Light and soothing. Goes perfectly with the bread slices. Iced Lemon Tea and Lemonade are the great choices of drink to accompany the soup. The staffs are efficient and friendly. Their hospitality is worth appreciating. This place is extremely tiny. Extremely hot inside as the sitting area is very small and the heat from the kitchen makes the space uncomfortably hot. Service was satisfactory. Didn’t seem to be unhygienic and the staffs were continuously cleaning the tables during our visit. Our overall experience was good and highly recommend their beef soup (for take out option to have it at home or anywhere comfortable).
The sup kambing is the best, love the spices and savoury taste, the mutton is so tender, love it. Service is exceptional as we don't speak malay, the owner always try to speak English whenever he can. I will definitely come back here for the soup again!
