This was a great find on Dominion Road, fully vegetarian and the food was amazing. Not a long wait for us, from the gol gappa to the samosas which had a nice crispy pastry but soft on the inside. The dosa were amazing (and we clearly ordered with our eyes as we couldn't finish everything). Masala tea was a great way to finish off, we will be back and bring others as well.

The food here is fantastic, with an extensive array of options. This buffet truly excels in North and South Indian cuisine. You can find everything from pakoras and samosas to dosas, idlis, rotis, and a variety of vegetables. It's a must-visit for all food enthusiasts!

Really good and highly recommendable. When walked in was little disappointed and thought no. But, owner is very nice and polite. Buffet price is good and when food got served one by one trust me guys. Finger licking every item we had from the menu. 5 StAR over all.

I’ve been looking ? forward to trying STEAM - 100% Pure Vegetarian Indian Restaurant for a while now, and I am so glad ? that I finally did! The restaurant ? is nestled discreetly in between a row of shops, at the upper end of Dominion Road ?? Looking at the unassuming exterior and a simple sign ? I knew I was in for good ? honest, tasty, ghar ka khana (home cooked food), without any fake pretentiousness. They let the food speak for itself ? On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays they offer a South Indian buffet ? If you have not booked, or it is no longer available, you can have an unlimited thali ☺️ served table side. This includes ordering 5 dishes ? from their entire menu (any combination of starter, chaat, Punjabi, Gujarat, South Indian, Indo-Chinese, etc), with starches, a drink, and a? sweet treat separate. It is not often that a restaurant will have both North and South Indian food, served delicious and authentic ? Steam seemed to have nailed it ? Each dish had a unique taste and flavour, that represented that region's local produce, spice combinations ? history, and culture. Food is more than just nutrition. Food is the cornerstone of culture ❤️ a commonality we all share, regardless of belief or attitude. I was transported to my beloved Bharat ?? with every mouthful My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional ✨️ From the moment I arrived until I left, I felt welcomed ? and pampered by the food and the exceptional attention given by the owner and staff. I highly recommend it ? If you want truly delicious, affordable ? food, then this is the place!
