It was a birthday celebration with a party of 11pax on a Thursday evening. Level one was full and we are seated at level two due to being a big group. Service is good and food are nice too. We had a mixture of starters, pizza, risotto, spaghetti, seafood stew and desserts. Missed out some food pics as was busy eating?
Great quaint place to be. Had an amazing catchup gathering with my friends and the staff were very accommodating. Even served free water in a former wine bottle. However the truffle fries could have some improvement. It has the truffle oil infused taste, but somehow something is lacking on the chewiness of the fries. Some fries were a little bitter to the taste.
On top of 3 mains and 1 truffle fries, we ordered drinks as well. I must say the coffee was above expectations. We find all our mains quite nice. Service is commendable, there were no small chats or extra attention given. However, he was hustling nonstop to many tables yet not forgetting all our requests/orders. Would like to revisit with another group of friends next time.
Review for Squisito Squisito is a hidden gem for those who value good food without the fuss. This no-frills café delivers where it matters most—delicious food, huge portions, and incredibly fast service. Everything we ordered, from the soup of the day, calamari, lamb shank and Al Granchio, was flavorful and satisfying. What truly stood out was the personal touch. My husband indicated we were celebrating our wedding anniversary in the reservation, and the owner came over to personally congratulate us—a gesture that made our evening extra special. To top it off, they treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was not only thoughtful but also absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for hearty meals, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Squisito is the place to go. Highly recommended!
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this place is a gem even for vegetarians like me. From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and the aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces transported me straight to Italy. The menu offers a delightful range of classic dishes made with high-quality, fresh ingredients—true to Italian tradition. Ricotta spinach light, spongy, creamy, glorious fresh cheese. The Arrabbiata Pasta was rich yet balanced, with a spicy tomato sauce. A standout moment for us was when the manager, Deen, went above and beyond by offering a slice of cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the experience even more special. The staff’s warm hospitality, combined with their knowledge of the dishes and excellent wine recommendations, truly elevated the experience. This restaurant doesn’t just serve Italian food; it delivers the essence of Italian hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine with a personal touch!
