I visited for lunch today after discovering their Facebook advertisement about a special lunch buffet on January 1st, featuring South Indian delicacies. Initially, I was a bit skeptical, as authentic South Indian food outside of India can be hard to come by. However, to my pleasant surprise, the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the taste was spot on—rich, flavorful, and reminiscent of true South Indian cuisine. What impressed me the most was the quality of the buffet. Often, buffets sacrifice taste for quantity, but that was not the case here. The dishes were as flavorful and well-prepared as any à la carte offering. The restaurant was quite crowded, and we had to share tables, which is understandable given the buffet setup, but the staff handled the high volume of guests with remarkable patience. They ensured that refills were quick and efficient, making sure there was no wait time for anyone. This experience has made Southern Delight my go-to place whenever I crave authentic South Indian food in Hanoi.

After trying local cuisines & getting my taste buds destroyed, I visited this South Indian restaurant & felt really good after eating Uttappam. The staff here is well behaved and friendly. I felt it is affordable aswell. So, go for it!

Southern Delights Hanoi continues to impress, compelling me to return in a remarkably short span of just three weeks, marking my fourth visit. My previous review highlighted the consistency of their offerings, which has undoubtedly improved. The culinary experience has been refined to a level where each meal now stands as a testament to their dedication to quality and authenticity. As a South Indian myself, I can unequivocally vouch for the genuineness of the flavors, which capture the essence of traditional Southern cuisine with remarkable accuracy. The attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation is evident, ensuring a delightful experience with every visit. I look forward to returning again soon, confident that Southern Delights Hanoi will consistently deliver on its promise of excellent food and authentic flavors.

Excellent Stuff! One must visit! It's very close to the wholesale market area. Staff are very humble and polite. Food quality is superb! We really enjoyed all the items.. U won't feel you are out of South India. Our best wishes to the management, the staff and Ho Nai Government.

We ordered masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa. Both were very tasty. Coconut chutney was superb. Restaurant people were very sweet and very gently taking the orders n serving it. Peaceful , spacious and authentic south indian food in Ha Noi city. Worth going and ambience is impressive. All the captions and wall paintings represents the culture in a nice way.
