While strolling around Osaka, Japan, I hesitantly decided to try Indian cuisine. To my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing! We cleared our plates completely. The owner, staff, and chef were all incredibly friendly. I highly recommend dining here—you won't regret it!
A nice cosy indian restaurant in the heart of Osaka City. Easily reached from Namba Metro Station (5-7 mins) and just next to Kuramon Market. We went a few times for lunch and dinner. We had South Indian Thali Set for lunch on the first trip and we had vegetable curry, omelettes and basmathi rice on the second day. Both was very good. Sweet Lassi was great. Mutton briyani was below average. Mutton was not cooked well. For dinner we tried Naan Tikka Set. Naan, curry and salad was good. Chicken tikka very average. Prices and portions was reasonable and the ambience was good. Service was ok. The shop has a separate part for bar and also a indian spice mart selling various indian ingredients. Good place to dine indian food in Osaka Japan
My favourite curry restaurant in Osaka! The set menus are really reasonable and delicious. They have set days when they do a delicious biryani, so check before you go. The curry is not like the usual smooth, slightly sweet curry you get in most Indian curry restaurants in Japan. It's extremely flavourful, lots of garlic and spices and very generous with the meat. Honestly the inside of the restaurant is nothing special, but it doesn't matter because of how good the food is.
