A great spread, especially with the many different flavoured chicken and meat items. The staff assisting with the buffet were very friendly and accommodating. There is ice cream too! I'm not very sure why many other reviewers gave Shiok Garden a low rating. Maybe I visited on a good day? It is overall a nice place for larger families to have a good gathering over a hotpot. Parking can be an issue during peak hours though.

My family of ten had a great time at SHIOK Garden today. ( Admiralty). Thank you to the kind staff who helped to plate up the cakes for my Dad's Birthday. The food/meats were plentiful and the condiments and sauces excellent. They even had lovely peanut sauce，really lemak red bean & sago dessert, ice cream, fresh fruits, hot porridge, finger food and free flow drinks. Wonderful! The hotpot and grill worked very well and my Dad and family had a wonderful time. But before the event, I was very anxious as I could not get anyone to answer my phone calls to the restaurant. No one answered our email enquiries either. Management should look into this, so that would-be customers can feel more assured that their reservations are all in order. Today,Thankfully all went well. The staff was helpful and gracious; allowing us to sit to chat while it was still raining outside.
