Saw many great reviews about their wagyu, so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to show us the different cuts of steak and wagyu, explaining how each one tastes. We tried the Australian Wagyu F1 and the lamb bone steak. Even though the wagyu didn’t melt like an A5, it was still amazingly soft, juicy and flavourful. I went for medium rare and it was perfect. And the lamb… wow. It was super tender, savoury and full of flavour! Definitely a must-visit if you’re craving wagyu or lamb. Highly recommended! 🥩🤤✨

Booking was super easy via Google, followed by a quick WhatsApp confirmation — very reassuring in this age of “did they get my booking or not?”. We were greeted warmly the moment we walked in, which already set the mood right. The place is cozy, nicely decorated, and gives off a chill-but-serious-about-food vibe. Staff were friendly and patiently walked us through the specials and promos without sounding like a sales pitch. Then came the signature steaks — beautifully plated, cooked just right, and honestly too pretty to eat (but we did anyway). If you’re here for high-quality steaks and a good time, Salai definitely delivers. 🥩

Superb service! Would give 10 stars just for that, and the food was excellent - one of the best melt-in-your-mouth wagyu we've ever had in a very long time. Never knew that pickled onions paired so nicely with the steaks. Our server was very attentive to our needs and his recommendations were really spot on. Plenty of choices for those who prefer seafood or chicken instead of steak. Everything we had from the cuts of meat to the dessert was great. Wishing your team continued success for 2026!

My first time at Salai Casual Elevated Dining (Dunlop) and I’m super impressed with the service. I’m not sure who he was, but the staff took time to explain the different cuts of meat and how each one tastes — really appreciated that personal touch. The food? Absolutely superb. I had their signature lamb with pita bread — it literally melted in my mouth. The sauce and the meat complemented each other perfectly; not overpowering at all. Hands down, the best lamb I’ve tasted so far. The oysters are a must-try if you’re an oyster lover. They’re served with sides that go so well together, plus a touch of Tabasco — wow, truly magnificent! My partner chose the skirt steak, and I could tell he loved it just by his reaction — laughing, smiling, and repeating “super good” throughout the meal 😄 Highly recommend — you all should definitely give this place a try!

The food here was absolutely phenomenal! The steaks were really good and our server took the time to share about the different cuts available today and it did not disappoint, it was fantastic! The oysters were also super fat and juicy and super worth the price! The big show stopper was the fork tender lamb ribs, its the most tender lamb I’ve ever had and its not gamey at all. Highly recommend this place, great for a date, great for small groups and family!
