Whenever I’m in London, I make sure to stop by Sagar! An incredible Indian spot with some of the best vegan options I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, the warm spices in the air let you know you’re in for something special. The menu is full of rich, flavorful plant-based dishes that don’t compromise on authenticity or depth of taste. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, with perfectly balanced spices that highlight the freshness of the ingredients. The lentil dals are comforting and packed with flavor, the vegetable curries are rich and satisfying, and the plant-based naan and chutneys elevate every bite. Whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or something lighter, there’s always an amazing option to choose from. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend dishes, ensuring you get the best experience. London has plenty of Indian restaurants, but this one truly stands out for its incredible vegan offerings. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on both flavor and quality, this spot is an absolute must-visit!
Food is delicious and server keep come to check us if we have enough and if the food is good. We ordered the Rajdani Thali and Kadai Paneer some naan to share with three of us. The curry was really good.
I try to come here as often as possible as a vegan who loves Indian food. The food here is really nice and always difficult to choose which dishes to get as the menu clearly marks vegan dishes and there are so many available. The Dosa masala is yummy and so is the fried Dal and saag aloo. The service was pretty good but everyone there speaks very quietly and it's difficult to hear sometimes. The music at the restaurant is hit and miss. Regardless I'll come back soon.
Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff members were super nice. As soon as I said that I didn’t deal well with spice, they made specific spice-less chutneys just for me. There were so many vegan options that it was incredibly difficult to choose!
Had an amazing meal with my Korean, Singaporean, Chinese and Italian friends. There was something for all palettes and they all loved the food. The dosa and idli were exactly like it is back home. We were touched by the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Would strongly recommend for a an experience to remember. The paneer butter masala, onion rava dosa and gobi manchurian were especially tasty!
