Attended an event recently with Saffrons as the caterer. I had two plates. Even though I had dinner before. Wanted to taobao but no plastic container or else it would be my lunch and dinner for me and my dad for the next day already. Lesson learnt: next time whenever events had Saffrons catering, I'll bring my own container. I think they over catered as only half of the catered attendees pax came. Did not know got my favourite Bee Hoon Biryani as it's not a Friday on the event date. Not easy to find mutton that doesn't smell and tender enough yet doesn't stuck in between your teeth. Bee Hoon also seasoned well not those white bland kosong bee hoon you get out there. Staff are amazing, very hardworking, polite and helpful. Truly appreciate the good service. Biryani rice is extremely fragrant and definitely the hit, that was what drawed us to the shop in the first place. That's a 10/10 and of course, a high recommendation from me. They even had a cute robot that delivered the drinks haha. Only unhappiness is the drink, where bandung is around 2+ but when ice is removed, the volume is only about 30% of the cup. I don't know why this place has a poor rating, but this is one of my go-to places when I'm in the Geylang Serai area. The briyani is fragrant and the rojak gravy is adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the choice between indoor and outdoor seating.
