We came for lunch at this restaurant. It was full house and good that that we made an earlier reservation. The decor looks very spiritual, though the ambience is spoilt somewhat by it being crowded. There is a fixed price and all dishes in the menu can be ordered, even more than once. Drinks are charged extra. The food was very well prepared and visually presented. The menu is extensive with mostly local Vietnamese food and some international dishes. The taste was extremely delicious and fresh on the taste buds. The tofu, pho and papaya salad were outstanding. We kept ordering from the menu book until we could not eat any more! A most wonderful place to have a vegetarian meal.
I recently dined at *Sadhu Vegetariana* and was absolutely enchanted by the experience! This restaurant is a haven for vegetarians, and the creativity in their dishes is truly commendable. One of my standout favorites was the *pumpkin pizza*. It was a delightful twist on traditional pizza, with a perfectly crispy crust and a rich, savory pumpkin base that combined beautifully with cheese. Every bite was a burst of flavor! I also can't stop raving about the *soup made from cốm*. It was a comforting, warm dish that captured the essence of Vietnamese flavors while being both unique and satisfying. The blend of textures and tastes was simply divine. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. If you're in the mood for delicious vegetarian cuisine, *Sadhu Vegetariana* is a must-visit! I can't wait to return and try more of their creative offerings! *Highly recommend!*
One of the Best Meals I've Had – Anywhere! We ate at Sadhu Restaurant in Hanoi and honestly, I’m still thinking about the food. I’m not even vegetarian, but this place changed the way I look at veg food. Everything we tried was full of flavour, beautifully served, and just felt... wholesome. Not heavy, not trying too hard — just really well made. What makes it even better is their all-you-can-eat format. You pay once, and you can try as many dishes as you like. We were four people, had a long, relaxed meal with multiple courses, and the total came to around ₹7,500. For that kind of quality and experience, it’s a steal. The staff was super friendly, the place had a calm vibe, and there was something special about the whole experience. If you’re ever in Hanoi, even if you're a hardcore meat lover — give Sadhu a shot. You might come out a convert like I did.
Overall I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody (especially vegetarians of course). It's a unique style buffet as you order food to the table - there are over 80 options of various styles and all nicely presented. Some dishes we really enjoyed, some we didn't - many will be personal preference. I've taken off a star because multiple dishes we wanted weren't available and 1 dish they brought as a replacement (they didn't tell us it wasn't available). The staff were all very organised, helpful, and friendly - can't fault them at all! The value for money is dependant on your appetite, we got 12 dishes between 2 of us and that felt worthwhile. Highlights were the braised eggplant with honey which was divine, and the pear spring roll was interesting too.
