Plenty of customers and quite busy - that says a lot about how good the service and food is. Got served immediately and plenty of staff available to cater for your needs. Top ups not a problem. Probably not the best hygiene by western standards but hey this is Malaysian street food and the atmosphere and ambience is par excellence. That was in 2024 . Now 2025 there’s a completely New look restaurant - double the size, clean, fast service with plenty of staff and a bigger more extensive menu on offer including lovely fine Indian sweets. A one stop shop for a full Indian dinning experience.
Had a wonderful dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was delicious, rich in flavor, and authentic. The service was excellent, especially for one staff member that was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is spacious and well-maintained. It’s definitely a place worth visiting for anyone craving great Indian food.in Malaka. Wishing this restaurant continued success, and I’ll definitely be back!

Located in the heart of Little India, Malacca City, Restoran Saravanna - Chettinadu King offers an Indian dining experience that’s hard to beat. From the moment I stepped in, the buzz of the morning crowd told me this place is well-loved and rightly so. Despite being busy, service was impressively swift. Staff were attentive, top-ups came without asking, and the team worked like clockwork. The air-conditioned section was cool and comfortable, making the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant has undergone a stunning transformation in 2025. It’s now bigger, with a modern, spotless setting and lovely chandelier. From classic dishes to rich Indian foods, it truly feels like a complete culinary journey under one roof. I ordered a tosai that was cooked to perfection, golden and crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside,. Each bite was rich and satisfying. On top of that, I had a packed nasi Lemak too and as expected, it didn’t disappoint..
A lovely place serves authentic tn style banana leaf meals. We tried banana leaf meals, chicken biryani and so on. The price was not expensive. The quantity and quality was excellent. It's actually a big dining area. Service was excellent. The curries are amazing. Definitely a good spot for South Indian meals.
