This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We had a nice relaxing lunch on a beautiful Sunday at the terrase, contemplating a breathtaking view of Lac Leman. Food was delicious, well prepared, and the service, outstanding. I understood this resto has been recently opened to the general public as it is part of the Clinic de Valmont. Yes, the resto is inside a clinic but don’t let this fact mislead you, the place really is high standard and I wouldn’t say I was in a medical facility except for one or two nurses that crossed our path! ;-)

The view, it's simply magic ! And the place is very quite so you can really enjoy it. The good surprise is that the dishes are very nicely prepared and tasty, which was not obvious for a "clinic" restaurant. We had the "cafe gourmand" which are in fact 4 real desserts and not just some miniardises. The final touch is the service, very professional, attentive and charming which makes you feel relaxed.

The restaurant is part of the famous Clinique Valmont, one of the first Swiss sanatoriums, with nearly 120 years of history. It kept its art nouveau style, which reminds of many famous guests of the clinic who were dining in in the same room with the lake view: Renoir, Degas, Rilke, Fitzgerald… Dishes are based on vegetable ingredients and make the healthy eating as the main theme of menu. The service was attentive but not intrusive. All in all, Côté Lac keeps the standard of the clinic and deserves a recommendation.

Great view, good food, staff was very polite and explained the menu for us. They reserved the best table for us and made sure all was good during our dinner. I recommend!

The restaurant is beautifully situated among the mountains with a view of the lake. The service is super fast and very good. The staff is very nice. Now about the food: There is a lot of choice for good food. I chose the pasta carbonara. This one was the best I have ever eaten. The food is very luxurious. The taste is loving thanks to the loving preparation. The cheese flavor trumped everything, but the crispy bacon finished the dish. The restaurant is definitely recommended.
