They have everything! The prices are not insane for New York either. A vegan BEC is $8. I got the vegan ham, egg, and cheese and it was very yummy. Tons of snacks and food options; vegan and not vegan.

This is a must visit for vegan folk in nyc. Not only was this the best chopped cheese found in the city. It’s open 24 hours so this quickly became our last stop everyday exploring the city. Yes the vegan chopped cheese was the best I had in the city. I do understand chop cheese is just an ordinary sandwich that isn’t even ordered that much by locals. So there are no really specialty chopped cheese places. The recommendation is that a chopped cheese is a chopped cheese pretty much anywhere and that the best part is just the availability and price. That being said I tried a couple and this one was the best. But if you really hate vegan, because I know you’re out there, they have all your regular fixings too. So yes real meat and all kinds of cheese and sandwiches. We literally went here 4 days in a row because it happened to be on our way to our Airbnb. They started to recognize us and even provided discounts! Now that is hospitality. Like nyc is not really known for that. But our boy really gave us discounts under the table and then told us on our 4th or 5th time there. Don’t be afraid to customized either. The beauty of a deli is ock can be anyone. You ask and they will literally just make it. A cool little combo I learned is the vegan hot chicken burrito, but ask for a roll or onion roll toated. Add jalapeños, maple syrup. Goodbye. Vegan McGriddle? Gg.

Amazing healthy food choices! A gem of a spot. The service was pretty slow but it all adds to the experience ??‍♀️

After Atlas Cafe closed a few years ago there has been a lack of a great vegan-friendly cafe in this stretch of 2nd Ave so I really excited to try this place. I’d say it’s definitely worth a stop in if you’re looking for some quick, New York-style vegan deli food staples. There’s a large menu of options from which to choose, offering all the usual (chopped cheese, burritos, egg sandwiches, burgers, fried items). I ordered the “spicy breakfast burrito” without the cheese (spinach wrap with vegan chorizo, zero egg, wayfare cheese, hash browns, spinach, onion, and avocado). The wrap was tasty, though not spicy. It was a nice size (definitely filled me Up). Four stars because the main reason I wanted it was for the Zero Egg and they just left it out entirely, I guess they were out of it but didn’t inform me when I ordered. Pretty disappointing. I will give it another shot when I’m down there, though, as the rest of the wrap was satisfying and the service quick. There’s a small window counter where you can eat in as well.
