Not the restaurant we were planning to go to but the free table near fan and cutest baby ever being held by owner changed our minds. Very glad they did as we had a great meal. Large selection of Khmer and Western dishes to choose from. The shrimp/prawn fried rice and egg was tasty, only disappointment was shrimp/prawns were far smaller than in other restaurants we have had this dish. Highlight was Khmer curry chicken, taste was rich and flavoursome. Beautiful. Wine and beer also and ended up with a banana split, basic but enjoyable. Service was fun and enjoyable, restaurant looked very clean and great value with good quality. Very happy we changed our minds and gave it a try!
March 2025 Absolutely stunning 5 star service and reception. You know I’ve been to many hotels of various star rating where the service team desperately need to pay this restaurant a visit and see how to do service. I felt the waiter was almost trained and prepared to do butler service. The taste and portions were both fantastic. The only improvement that might be great is to have air conditioning.
We were looking for the best local Phnom Penh restaurant and luckily came across Three Rivers Restaurant. This little family run restaurant is a short walk from the river and well worth visiting. You will experience the best service from a lovely family. The food was excellent, real home cooked fresh food and a great introduction to Cambodian cuisine. European/Western options are also available but would highly recommend trying the local dishes. 10/10.
During my recent trip to Cambodia, I had the pleasure of discovering a local restaurant that truly deserves special recognition. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with impeccable service and incredibly friendly staff who are always happy to recommend dishes and share the stories behind traditional Cambodian recipes. But the real star here is the food: outstanding local cuisine, crafted with care and made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The absolute highlight for me were the homemade dumplings — without a doubt the best I’ve had in Cambodia. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with love, they alone are worth the visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience genuine Cambodian hospitality and unforgettable flavors.
A lovely family run restaurant! We stopped here for lunch and had the fish amok and chicken Khmer curry which were both absolutely delicious. The owner is very friendly and gave us tips on how to stay safe in the local area! Free watermelon at the end of the meal was a nice bonus too. Reasonably priced for the quality!
