The service stands out, ensures plates are cleared promptly, creating a clutter-free and comfortable environment to enjoy your meal. The ambience is delightful, with a soothing vibe that complements the dining experience. However, if you’re seated on the sofa, you might find it less ideal—the seats are a bit low and uncomfortable, which detracts slightly from the overall comfort. As for the food, there’s a good variety to choose from. The seafood is undeniably fresh, but the portions are quite small. Cracking shells takes effort, and the yield may leave you wanting more. That said, the standout dish of the evening was the 4 Treasure Seafood Rice with Egg White Sauce, a hidden gem tucked in a corner of the buffet spread. Overall, Peppermint excels in service and variety, with some areas for improvement in seating comfort and seafood portions. It’s worth a visit for the great service and unique dishes.
Not a lot of spread, but there are different cuisines to try. With the price on a weekday dinner, I would have expected more. Roasted beef was dry and hard. Roasted mutton and ribs were good. Seafood on ice were ok except Oysters which were quite small. Tempura prawn was fried till quite hard.
We went for the indonesian buffet. We give 5 stars for: *Outstanding service. plates were cleared very efficiently. We arrived early and mentioned we wanted a quiet area and they very kindly offered to change tables area to suit. That shows flexibility of the mind, which is so lacking in singapore in general and that adds a nice surprise to the whole dinning experience. Inside the restaurant will be more lively/ noisy with music we personally found too loud but we liked the plants and large glass windows there. So if you want to hear yourself talk, the outside seating is much more pleasant. *The kitchen staff who did the plating. Stunning and beautiful garnishes. Very creatively executed - well done! *All the dips and meat sauces and marinades were great. Beef ball soup was very well done. *Seafood: the snow crab was very delicious. Oysters were small but tasted good. The only unfortunate thing and one of the most important, is the meat dishes - all the chicken, duck, lamb, beef stew were sooo hard and tough. They need to look to improving that ASAP. This is the downfall of the entire experience and will not entice people to return. That for us, is down to 1.5 stars- the gravy and sauces were very good though. Desserts were also too sweet and the chocolate used left little to be desired. For a bill of $114 per person, (after discount from credit cards) some fresh fruit juices would have been nice. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Will we return? Unlikely unless there is an improvement in all the main meat dishes.
Service is great, the crew are very polite and nice. Atmosphere is very relaxing and seating plans are good, the whole place gives a relaxing vibe and somehow when take food, it does not holt. Food is great for all of the different cusine, but only their seafood "crab and other shells not that fresh" prawn is very good. You can check with any of your cards has any promo
