Peasants Paradice is a very interesting spot in Perth’s dining scene, run by Dwight, an enthusiastic young chef with an inspiring vision and a genuine sense of community. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear that this is more than just a restaurant—it’s a labor of love where the team pours their heart into creating a fun, welcoming environment that feels like a celebration of good food and good company. The menu is wonderfully diverse, offering international flavors that reflect a fearless approach to cuisine. It’s hard to pin down a central theme—dishes might draw inspiration from Asia, Europe, or even the Middle East—but somehow, it all comes together seamlessly. Each plate feels carefully considered, with bold flavors and creative pairings that make for a truly unique dining experience. Whether you’re an adventurous eater or someone who loves exploring new culinary territory, you’ll find plenty to rave about. What really sets Peasants Paradice apart is the energy and passion of the team. Dwight and his crew work tirelessly to bring something fresh and exciting to the table, and their enthusiasm is infectious. The vibe is lively, the service is friendly, and you get the sense that everyone involved is genuinely proud of what they’re offering. Peasants Paradice isn’t just about great food; it’s about community, creativity, and bringing people together over shared experiences. It’s a restaurant that breaks the mold, and it’s one that is worth a visit.
Peasants Paradice is an interesting venue for modern African cuisine, taking inspiration from all over Africa. The food was delicious, great flavour bombs. Although some of the dishes were a bit salty. The owner was immensely friendly, if a bit overworked being just himself on the day, but made it a great time for us. The place loses a star as it would be hard to say the value was excellent. We got the feed me menu and felt that ordering the individual dishes would have been cheaper. We left satisfied in terms of fullness, but probably could have done an extra dish or to have the menu be a bit cheaper
Absolutely outstanding!!! One of Perth's best. This was my 4th or 5th time getting to enjoy the tasty food here. Not only would I recommend coming, but come with a group. Then you can try even more of their amazing dishes. We went in a group of 12 before, and it was heaven of earth doing the set group meal. This time, it was just two of us, and while great, I wanted more.
Visited Peasants Paradise for the second time so my family could enjoy the amazing food and once again, it exceeded expectations. Truly a memorable experience! You can feel the passion in both the food and the space. Highly recommended ?
Peasants Paradise is not just about the fantastic delicious unique food, but also about the entertaining and highly hospitable chef, owner and host who makes this a marvellous overall dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking something different and much better than your run off the mill Italian, Japanese or Thai. Looking forward to coming back again.
