Absolutely delicious dishes from start to finish! You can really tell the quality of produce is top notch and cooked so well. A great buzz of energy in the atmosphere so it didn’t matter having my 2 preschool children there as it wouldn’t disturb other guests. Drinks selection was broad and there was something to satisfy all tastes. Definitely coming back when we’re visiting Queensland again. One downside was the toilets which were public ones outside of the restaurant.

Walked by during lunch, service staff weren’t bothered in welcoming us in while we browsed the menu outside, had to walk to them to ask if they were open for seating. Sat down, took a while to get their attention to order as they were talking amongst themselves at the front bar, it almost felt like I was interrupting their talk session which really threw me off the dining experience. I understand we were their first customers of the day at 12pm & maybe they weren’t prepared, but we weren’t being rude, overly expecting nor impatient. Service picked up later when our meals were served. I can only imagine dinner would be a better time to dine here. Food wise, crab pasta was my favorite. Our bill hit around $130 for 2 people, 1 starter and 2 mains. Can’t say for the dining experience & food portion that this was worth it but would like to give it another chance during dinner time.

I recently dined at Orzo Broadbeach and had a delightful experience. The ambiance was modern and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. To start, we enjoyed the focaccia with whipped ricotta and herb oil. The bread was fluffy and fresh, perfectly complemented by the creamy ricotta and aromatic herb oil. Next, we tried the layered eggplant dish. It was beautifully presented and packed with flavors, each bite showcasing a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The pasta dish was a highlight, with the noodles cooked to perfection and generously coated in a flavorful sauce. The fennel garnish added a nice touch of freshness. The pork dish was tender and juicy, paired with a delicious sauce and a side of vibrant green puree. The meat was cooked just right, making it a satisfying main course. The gnocchi was another standout, with a crispy exterior and soft, pillowy interior. The addition of nuts and sage provided a delightful crunch and aromatic depth. Overall, Orzo Broadbeach offers a memorable dining experience with a variety of well-executed dishes. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Highly recommend trying their pasta and pork dishes!

Orzo is a restaurant that I usually go to quite often and every time it surprises me. I admit that 4 months ago I was disappointed at lunchtime asking for a Carbonara that was very salty, I almost couldn’t eat it. But last week it was impeccable at dinner. Very friendly service, very tasty food, no delay, everything worked perfectly well. I’m local and I love to explore the gastronomy of the neighbourhood where I live and support the businesses around, and Orzo is one of the restaurants I like to frequent the most.

From being welcomed and show our tables smiles and professionalism were on show. Service was excellent and the food matched that as well. The $20 lunch special is also great value. Highly recommend but I am told it can get pretty busy so may be worth booking at those peak times.
