Great place to just have a simple quiet chicken rice. Meal at the "hdb void deck" vibes. What's there to not like?

I've walked past this place numerous times over the years, but it was only recently that I decided to give their food a try. From the outside, you wouldn't know the variety of dishes they offer as there are no images or menu displayed. The roasted chickens hanging at the stall front are the only hint of what lies within. However, after perusing their menu on Food Panda, I was pleasantly surprised to find a diverse selection of Malay and Chinese cuisine. So far, I've opted for takeaway, trying several dishes including chicken rice, Hokkien mee, seafood fried rice, and kway teow seafood, among others. While the chicken rice was a letdown due to its dryness and lack of flavor, the rest of the offerings were decent. The kway teow seafood stood out as my favorite, striking the right balance of flavor and freshness. The service here is friendly, although the auntie can show a hint of impatience at times. Prices are a tad higher than what you'd expect at a typical coffeeshop, but the speed at which they prepare the food more than makes up for it. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order. All in all, this place is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a quick, decent meal and don't mind the lack of dining ambience, it's definitely worth a try.
