3 Chome-34-4 Yushima, Bunkyo City, Tokyo 113-0034, Japan
First time in Japan, after living here for more then 4 years I had a chance to eat Payee which was cooked in Pakistani style. The cook is Pakistani so he knows how to make food for a Pakistani with actual Pakistani taste. We were 3 people who tried payee, It cost us 1430 payee plate with 2 naan and salad. They do have a separate Pakistani menu. It located less then 1 minute walk from station. space is little small but price matches the value you get here. All food served here is halal and they change Pakistani menu every single day
The Best restaurant for Pakistan and Indian food lovers. All Pakistani dishes are available. Must visit here while you visiting Tokyo.
i really love the chicken biryani here, authentics tasting and delicious. the goat was on the tougher side and a little difficult to eat. mango lassi was delicious. everything here feels a little too expensive for the type of neighborhood restaurant but worth a splurge now and then
Got the #1 set with naan and butter Chicken and mango juice with lassi. All of it was delicious! As someone who can’t handle spicy food I ordered the very mild and to my surprise it was actually mild! Most places like this make everything super spicy so I was ready to tear up but the only tears were tears of joy from the fresh delicious naan, butter chicken and a refreshing mango lassi!
I had a great experience at Nawab Biryani House! The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. They delivered rich, authentic Indian flavors that are truly hard to come by in Japan—definitely a treat for anyone craving real Indian cuisine. A big plus for me was that the food is halal, which makes it accessible to a wider audience. It’s always a relief to find places that are mindful of dietary needs without compromising on taste. The only downside, for me personally, was the atmosphere. The restaurant has more of a typical Japanese bar-style setting—cozy and a bit tight on space. While some may find it charming, I usually prefer a more open and spacious dining environment. Overall, a fantastic spot for flavorful, halal Indian food with great service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic taste of India in Japan!
