Narayan is a fully vegan restaurant that is run by the lovely Wyan! Wyan is a female local business owner who has been vegan and running the cafe for over 15 years! You will love the quality of ingredients and wide selection of local cuisine! The food is really flavorful and comes in a good portion! The place is really clean and cozy. Prices are amazing and the food is even better! Come support this local family and enjoy some of the best food in Bali! ?
I love it!!! It's my 1st time tasting vegetarian version of bali's local cuisine, Nasi Campur. And.I.Love.It. The owner is a very graceful lady which paid full attention to what I order (I asked for half portion rice and that's exactly what she serve). It's a combination of like exotic plant based ingredients which (again) I love. And how much should I paid for half portion of Vegetarian Nasi Campur ? Rp.17.000 only ? that already include 1 small bottle of mineral water (330 ml). The place though rather small and it's a very humble establishment, but if you are social like me, it's a chance to know people who share one table with you. Definitely satisfied.
This place is amazing! One plate isn't enough, not because you aren't full but because it tastes amazing and you're left wanting more!! Nasi Campur is the thing to go for, a selection of most of the dishes! I can't chose which one I like the most and there are none I dislike! We've been here twice and the last time we got take away to have on our bus 16hour journey tomorrow to Yogyakarta!
A wonderful vegan warung (food stall) in North Kuta/Seminyak serving delicious allium-free, local Balinese food. The chef-owner is friendly and humble. I recommend their nasi campur (mixed rice) which is basically a bowl of white rice and small servings of different types of vegetables prepared in various ways (deep fried, boiled and seasoned with fried coconut shavings, stir fried). Super delicious and value for money!! The nasi campur costs IDR 20,000 at time of writing. We also tried their nasi goreng/fried rice (IDR 20K), nasi pecel (IDR20K) and cap cay/mixed veg (IDR25K). All were delicious. We ate our lunch here almost every other day, it’s that good and the chef is very kind and humble. I gave the atmosphere a 1 star because the stall is located right in the middle of a busy road and it gets loud. That said, highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try local Balinese vegan food. The stall typically opens daily, 8am - 7pm. PRO TIP: - this stall is also listed on grab food, so you can order a delivery - as sometimes the stall can be closed due to urgent/unforeseen circumstances, I would check their listing on grab food, if they are listed/accepting order = stall is open :)
Run by a cute couple this is an underrated place in Seminyak serving local cuisine. They are a heaven for people like me who search for vegetarian options. We had our lunch here but unfortunately it was closed by the time we reached for dinner (I regret not reaching earlier). Their entire menu is vegan so eat till your heart’s full. The highlight of the menu is nasi campur (a must try!). The dish had rice in between and various vegetables and vegan proteins on the sides. The portions were generous and that red condiment is a delight for the taste buds (ask for extras they gladly serve you). We also had fried tofu and it never tasted better trust me. The crunch the texture my god! We licked our plates clean! And guess what, the prices are way reasonable! We couldn’t believe the bill when we saw! I would visit seminyak again and have all my meals here only! :)
