The sushi is so good. Fairly priced. The Katsudon was a little soggy but the flavour was well-balanced. Overall a very nice restaurant, good quality environment, seats, etc, good layout, food is solid. Definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants out there.

Delicious food. I highly recommend the Okonomiyaki! Everything was nice, the sticky pork, dumplings, takoyaki, slow cooked pork belly and the yakiudon. Oh and Sapporo beer ? on the tap

Had the most amazing eel rice bowl at Morimori today! The eel was tender, the seasoning was perfect, and it paired beautifully with the rice. The staff were super friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m craving delicious eel. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give more stars, this place is literally how I treat myself when I feel like I’ve done well. It’s super cozy, the owner is super friendly and the food is SO delicious!! I’m so jealous of people who live in town because I wish I could come here more often. This is my #1 Japanese place in CHCH
