50, Jalan Hang Jebat, 75200 Melaka, Malaysia
Went on a weekday afternoon and spent RM50 for 2 persons. Restaurant was clean, spacious and had air conditioning. Ordered the following; Pulled noodles with Egg and Tomato - Simple, delicious and fresh. The plain look of the dish belies how flavourful it was. The egg was cooked well, the tomatoes fresh and meaty, the noodles perfectly done. Refreshing and savoury at the same time, great for a hot sunny day. Steamed chicken dumplings - eaten with the chili oil and drenched with vinegar, we loved how light the filling was. The dumpling skin was also not too think, making it easily one of the best chicken dumplings in Malaysia. Mapo Tofu - Savoury and slightly spicy tofu dish paired well with the noodles and dumplings. Not too spicy, the peppercorns crushed enough where an errant bite would not cause undue numbness from the Szechuan Peppers. Overall well worth the expenditure and would strongly recommend others to give it a go.
Saw this Lan Zhou Ramen in Jonker street and decided to give it a try, ordering was easy - with braised beef and tomato egg noodles, food came quite fast and the portion given was huge, one bowl can feed 2 person if you are average eater The taste was delicious and soup was not salty , as for the egg and tomato, the portion given was generous. Highly recommended noodle shop to try out
The soup was tasty. Overall is okay. Recommended for muslim who looking for halal food.
Beef noodle soup not heavily spiced: it is refreshing and light. Adding chili oil enhances the taste. The fried noodles is sooooo good! The sauce coating the noodles is tasty, rich yet not powering. The smashed cucumber and black fungus are good accompaniments to the main noodle dishes.
The food taste delicious ?. The portion is quite big, can serve for 2 pax. Reasonable price.
